The Person Behind The Senior Soup
Ryan Miner
Ryan Miner founded The Senior Soup in September 2022 and hosts The Senior Soup Podcast. His mission is to connect Maryland seniors and their families with trustworthy healthcare resources and compassionate senior service professionals.
Professional Background
In December 2025, Ryan launched Sentinel Silver, a technology support company dedicated to helping older adults navigate and confidently use modern technology. Prior to founding Sentinel Silver, Ryan served as a healthcare marketing professional at Ennoble Care, a home-based primary care practice serving Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Ryan is also the founder and creative director of Delta Marketing LLC, a boutique digital marketing agency focused on helping businesses and nonprofit organizations in the DMV and Florida develop brand identity and lead-generation assets.
After graduating from Duquesne University, Ryan's career took him to Capitol Hill, where he served as a congressional staffer. He later worked in corporate communications and public affairs, public relations, and led business development, sales, and customer service teams.

Community & Advocacy
Ryan lives in Maryland with his wife and two children. The Miner family is passionate about volunteering on behalf of mental health initiatives and working to prevent online bullying and teen suicide.
Ryan is a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Foundation and the Parkinson's Foundation.
A Personal Mission
The Senior Soup is dedicated to Ryan's grandparents: the late Dick and Maureen Hann, the late Scotty Miner, and Joyce Miner—whose lives inspired this mission to serve Maryland's aging community with compassion, integrity, and unwavering commitment.
